Currently I’m involved with the United Way of Deo County’s Project Blueprint training program. It’s a training program that’s aimed at strengthening the nonprofit system in Deo County by providing a diverse group of individuals to participate on the various different boards.
I’m also involved with the Mercy Center for Women and the Deo County Convention Center Authority.
I believe it’s important to have a diverse group of individuals sitting at the decision making tables in the various aspects in the community.
I believe the benefits of community service are many. It provides energy and expertise to the various agencies that need assistance and also, as an individual, I am able to grow and develop new skills and also meet other people.
